Boston decided it would be fun to climb in his dresser and pull out all of his clothes. He saw me pulling out all of his clothes that don't fit anymore and decided to join in the fun.

I took Boston to the park and let him swing. He wanted to play forever. He even enjoyed the slide.

Spring Fever

So Boston has been dying to get outside to play. He stares out the window and tries to get out the door when it is opened or climb through the doggy door. In fact, he started saying "outside" today. I decided it would be fun to take him for a walk to the park. I put Boston on the swing. He loved it. He was giggling and smiling the whole time. When I went to take him out, he was mad at me. I put him on the slide. He also loved it. I even got him to go down the big slide on his own. I showed him how to climb through the tunnel and climb the stairs. We played for almost an hour on the playground. It was the first time where I got him to do something other than just on the swing or walk around.

Fun with Boston

Boston is so fun right now. He is scooting around like mad, and he is quick. He claps when you say "yea Boston." Boston follows Gizmo around the house and says "Hi gizzy" and tries to grab him or throw a ball at Gizmo.
He used to be terrified when you threw him in the air. Now, I count to three and he loves being thrown in the air. He even will count to three to get you to throw him in the air. "Ahn, two, hee!" I've been getting my upper body workout without lifting weights.
His favorite game is throw things. He will play catch for a long time before he gets bored. He also thinks it is hilarious to throw things out the doggie door. I'm sure I will find all kinds of treasures in the spring.

We took Boston to his first basketball game. I was worried he would freak out. At first he was nervous about the noise. After a couple minutes he loved it. He was clapping and cheering with the crowd. He didn't know why they were cheering, but he knew it was fun to clap and yell like everyone else. He brings many smiles to our faces every day.

Christmas

We really enjoyed our Christmas this year. It was fun to watch Boston. He favorite was the ribbon and paper. Here he is his having his first ever bubble bath. Boston loved his bubble bath. It makes bathtime even more exciting. He also put on his Sunday best to lounge on his new doggie pillow. A nice relaxing afternoon after helping mom in primary. The best has to be this video of Boston enjoying the floating balls. I bet you didn't know it was so amazing.

Holidays!

So I haven't blogged forever so here is a bunch of pictures to get you caught up on the Elggren family.

We went down to St. George for Thanksgiving. We had a great time. We ate a ton of food. This is a gingerbread house that we made while we down there. The roof weighted so much that it required some extra support. We played games every night. I am proud to say that I did win a game of Scrabble. The cousins loved playing together all day long. I thought they would eventually get tired, I should have known better.

Boston absolutely loves to play with blocks. If you build something, he will knock it down. The cousin were getting frustrated, because they would build a tower and Boston would just knock it down.




We went to a Christmas party at the clubhouse. I was surprised at how well Boston did when he sat on Santa's lap. He did cry, which is expected. He however didn't scream. He won't let anyone hold him other than mom and dad. Here are some really cute pictures I got at the party.


I decided to have some fun, so I put reindeer antlers on Boston and me. He thought it was hilarious. He even left them on for more than two seconds.


Here I am getting some Boston snuggles. They are the best snuggles around! Man I love that kid. Merry Christmas! I hope you enjoy this holiday season. I know that I am enjoying myself.

1st Birthday!

Boston is now one! We had a fun get together with the family. When it was time to open presents, the cousins and parents were more excited about the presents than Boston. All Boston cared about was the ribbon. I guess I know what to get him for Christmas. He didn't care too much for his birthday cake. He just started crying when his hand got in the cake. He was very tired and probably overwhelmed. We had a blast celebrating a few of the many October birthdays we have.

We took some fun fall photos with Boston and our pumpkins that we grew. It was hard work growing those pumpkins and we only got three. One for each family member.


We took Boston in for his regular doctor checkup and he is still super tall for his age. He is in the 90th percentile. They don't really make baby clothes for his size. Most of his clothes are wide on him, because he is skinny. Some of his pants only stay up, because of his diaper. Man I love that kid! He is such a cutie!

On The Move

Boston is now on the move. He doesn't crawl. He scoots on his behind. He follows Gizmo around and he follows me around. It is so nice, because now every time I leave a room, he doesn't freak out. Now, he just follows me.
Here is Boston in his cute new jacket for fall. We are enjoying fall. He swung on a swing for the first time. At first he was nervous, but then he got used to movement, and loved it.
