The Claw

Boston practicing to become a pirate. He is already trying to decide what to be in life a pirate or a baseball player. Gizmo has found a new way to tick me off. While Boston is sleeping Gizmo takes Boston's binky off of his lap and chews on it. I have had to take Boston's binky from Gizmo several times now. I guess Giz figures it's not being used so he better put it to good use.

Doctor's Visit

So, yesterday was little Bostons first visit to the doctors!!
How exciting right, well Kim said that he was not at all happy about any part of the visti. Apperently they had to prick his little foot and and force blood out so that they can run a test for certain diseases. Well who amoung us would like to have the heel of their foot pricked and people squeezing it till it bled just enough.
Other than that, Mom reported that all was well with Boston, He has grown Half an Inch, and Gained weight up to 8 lB 2 oz. So things are going well. Boston is doing great. He is so dang Cute. Everyday he looks more and more different.

Wow, so last night, I was a Night watch. Well let me just say that was not my fav. Boston woke at 1:30 am to eat, and when all was said and done we fell asleep finally at 3:45 am. Let me just say that is not the best way to spend you sleeping time. But he is just so damn cute, so that makes it ohhh so much better.

Boston

Becoming a dad is just the most interesting thing that may have ever happened to me. Crap to us. Kim and I are adjusting to the many wonderful changes that affect all those who enter into this parental world. It really does seem that it is a different world, now that Boston is in out lives. Why? The love in my heart for this beautiful little dude is so amazing. I never thought that i could just sit and stare at something for so long with no noise no change just silence. But Boston has softened our hearts.
The first week has been a tough one on Kim, the taxing task that has been placed on the both of us has taken a toll. But we have a great deal of loved ones that are willing to step in and help us to learn and pass the enitial shock of the baby in the house. I do not think that anything will help Gizmo to get used to the fact that his mom has someone else to cuddle with. It took a solid two days fro the Giz, to even go near Kim that is how mad he was about the whole thing. But he is so good with Boston, when Boston crys, Giz runs to where he is and waits until we come to take care of him. It is really very cute. We just would like to say thank you to those who have been such a great help to us, bringing us dinner, and taking care of Kim and Boston during their time of need. So thank you and we love you.

Darin and Kim and Boston,

GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!
