Father's Day

Father's Day is a special time to remind us all how much we care about our fathers. Boston is so lucky to have a wonderful dad. Boston loves to play with dad, because he is way funnier then I could ever be. Darin does so much for us around the house. I'm so lucky to have a man that can cook a good meal and who hates it when I vacuum (hey I hate it when I have to vacuum too). He works hard at work, then comes home and works hard at home. It has been hard on Darin having his shoulder surgery, because he can't lift anything with his right hand. He has had to sit and watch while I try to weed whack. Ha Ha that didn't work out, but I tried.

Thanks Darin for all you do. Boston and I appreciate everything you do.

Crazy Days

Just another week at the Elggren's house. The rain and hail from Thursday's storm was nuts. Here is our front lawn(if you can call it that) under a foot of water. I'm really starting to get sick of the rain, plus we haven't been able to go swimming yet.

We came home from a family dinner and Gizmo (Houdini) decided it was a good idea to dig a hole under the gate to escape. Somebody called and said they found him, but then let him go (come on really). Then luckily someone else found him. They were so nice. They bathed him and gave him love and comfort.

Boston decided to try new things like reading the newspaper and playing the guitar. Watch out Jonas Brothers. We even started to finish our basement. It was been a crazy week, but a good one.

I Like Da Cookie!

So Darin thought it was a good idea to give Boston a cookie. Just can't leave those two alone. Needless to say he is my kid and loved it! He ate it way better then he will eat his peas. Afterward he was a chocolate mess. Then when it was bed time dude didn't want to sleep from the chocolate. Next time he can have some cookie not the entire thing.

Summer Fun

Eating time is always interesting.

Boston and I have been having a blast so far this summer. We have been using Dad's new camera that he got for Father's Day.

Schools out for the Summer

Boston loves his saucer!

So today was the last day of school for Darin and I. It's nice to be off for the summer, but I'm going to miss those kids. Every year no matter how much they stress me out, I grow to love them.

Tonight when I put Boston to bed I told him "Good Night." He just started laughing so hard. So then I told him "Are you just going to play when I leave?" He thought that was even funnier and started laughing harder. I wish I had it on film, because it could have won Funniest Home Videos.
